Well wherever some of the current Cherstey squad go it's all about money so wouldnt be surprised if they get in difficulties. Dont think any Step 5 club or below should be paying players on a regular basis.

 

They should enjoy the game, enjoy the facilities, the standard they can play at and if young enough strive for Conference or the Football league by playing well and working hard for the club.

FYI

 

The water bill referred to in the article three weeks ago relates to the previous company and administration of Chertsey Town. When the new organization took over 18 months ago all new accounts were correctly started and are fully paid up to date-this is just another muck raising story.

 

The monogrammed towels referred too were a gift from a sponser-we are gratefull but were hardly likely to refuse!

 

Just thought I would clear those points up once and for all!!!
