Well the amount of people who play is roughly double the prize fund - considering practically everyone buys just one ticket. That'll make no difference to the odds though - seeing as you're looking at amount of tickets sold.

I for one would not continue to buy a ticket if it were expanded beyond the ground. Might just as well do the lottery.

Isn't the idea about helping the club out and not personal gain ? Is winning not just a bonus?

I'll have a virtual hotdog over the real thing any day. We could offer a virtual Fleetburger and then suffer from the virtual sh1ts. You could take your virtual girlfriend to the game...oh hold on you already do elephant

I therefore think that if it goes ahead, integration is the way to go as per the proposal.

I buy a ticket at every match and have yet to be aware of anyone who has won, never been anywhere near someone who has won nor have seen anyone collect their winnings as this is done out of sight in players tunnel, so people like me will be unaware as to whether its an attendee or a MyFC member that has won.....in addition to the tannoy announcement at the ground ask Chas to announce the winner on the internet commentary.

I won it 2 years ago at the Morecambe game.

No larger than winning the lottery. Winning the jackpot is a 1 in 14 million chance, assuming 300 people (no idea on the actual figure) buy 50/50 then it's only odds of 1 in 90000, if the same guy bought multiple tickets every week that would be dramatically reduced.

Each ticket you buy stands alone, so no matter how many you buy the chances would surely be 1 in whatever the amount of tickets that are bought just like the lottery? 1-300 1-400 etc etc

Enough Gary perleeeeaaaase. I went down to see the Fleet ladies play yesterday. A wonderful match spoilt only by the refreshment bar being open and my daughter pleeding with me to buy her chips. Needless to say she didn't get any.

I'm happy to see this being fairly well received by local supporters. I was worried many would see it as MyFC trying to squeeze out local fans. But as many have already said here, it's just a quick and easy way to join in the match experience, even from a great distance, and add a few more pounds to the club's coffers. Well done, and I'll be playing along (and losing).

On another note, I was thinking of coming back for my next trip to Stonebridge Road during our Christmas holidays, but it looks like there's really only 1 home match I could make during that period, so I'm not sure it's the best time for a visit. Still scheming, though... maybe a repeat trip in May?

Per ticket yes, but if I buy 5 tickets out of a raffle of 100 tickets total, and a ticket is pulled out, I have a 5 times greater chance. Thus, a 1 in 20 chance, or five 1 in 100 chances.

what is going to happen is at the end of every game harry will tell who ever is gonna be in charge of it for myfc what the start number will be for the next match e.g 001200 then it will be up to myfc to sell as many tickets as they can by the day before a match day so say the first week they sell 150 ticket on the web than harry will start on 001350 on the match day.

also person in charge of it for myfc is going to write all the names on the back of tickets or somethink like that.

came from the man himself!!

That's not how I see it, I see it as you have 5 individual tickets each at 99-1, but I'm not a gambling man, so may see it differently
