Wealdstone Match CANCELLED

The Ryman Premier League Fixture against Wealdstone FC on Tuesday 9 September has been cancelled. As some of you will know the triple floodlight pylon in the Riverside corner failed during the Capital League game last thursday and the Engineers cannot come to fix it until Thursday at the earliest.

Both the League and Wealdstone FC have been informed. A new date for the fixture will be announced as soon as possible.

lol.

bit harsh for the league to fine us jen. what if we'd had staged the game, then had it called off due to the floodlight? or if it failed during the game leading to an abandonment? didn't that happen to us last season? we've given the league and wealdstone plenty of notice, so they're not out of pocket.

may be regulations which as ryman member clubs have signed up to, but a situation like this shows up a flaw in the rules. seems like we're being fined for honesty? fck em jen. pay the fine in 1p coins.

I was honest at 9.am this morning and tried 11 flood lighting compainies today, to no avail.

I have a personal hearing on the last thursday in the month.

Unc Minty tried the normal fuses and stuff and

I had a company trying to help on the other end of the phone.

Do you want the club house open tomorrow to get together for a drink ??

not me i am skint.will probably stay in to watch U21's on the box

some people will probably turn up as they may not find out the game is off.

No wonder foreigners are flocking to this country to find work,it is quite obvious that us english can't be ar$ed to fix anything.we are a lazy nation!!

Let us know where this personal hearing is,think we should all turn up and give the league a piece of our mind

Im think also its unfair to be fined as its no fault to your own as a club, you done what you could to get it put right it seems gone are the days when issues like this may of been sorted on the day..., as it is you guys are losing gate money and bar takings, you guys are a good club, and im sure if able give Uchinette support at that hearing , let them see the errors of their ways.....and you get your fine withdrawn.....good luck

If you had let us groundshare we could have got a bloke there earlier than that as we have great experience with floodlight failures.

Or did we put the curse of Sungate on you.
