Margate Exiles, The Shout Box,Match Sponsorship

First of all, just noticed that Fans of the Shoutbox on Fans Forum sponsored yesterday's game - congratulations to them for that effort.

 

Secondly, would any Margate Exiles be prepared to undertake the same action for a game at some time this season? I am certainly up for it and would be happy to act as liaison and organise it.

 

Looking on the Commercial section of the club site, Match Sponsorship is

It was actually sponsored by myself, due to it being my birthday and the fact we were playing the Urchins, of which a few participate in the Shout Box. I felt because of the camaradry betwen the two set of fans it would be great to have a little together on the day and I just had the inspiration to have it put in the programme as the "Shout Box"

 

A great day was had by all and I would like to thank the Vicki for organising the bar to be open early, Terry Yorath for popping into the sponsors lounge to have a chat with everyone and Leah for being the perfect hostess for the day. Thanks finally to Tam and Melvin who organised and cooked us a marvellous dinner.

 

If you do thid Gary I can assure you it is a very good day.

It was a brilliant day thanx Taffy. Great welcome from Margate FC. From gatemen, barstaff, Vicky & Leah and all.

 

Isn't your Head of Security a lovely fella? I'll make a new song for him! Something along the lines of 'You Are My Sunshine' as he and the stewards Coxy and Mark lit up the day!

 

Very nice meal and company. It was great to meet up with the gang.

 

I'll check the train times next time!
