Lol, don't know about an old man - but we had a lot of fun there and were very disappointed that our Margate friends were reluctant to let us hang the Hornchurch flag over the side of the Directors' box - think we had it in place for about 5 seconds!!

When we played Margate a few weeks back one of our subs was sent off for saying something naughty to the lino

 

This old guy reckoned because of this our manager had gone home, that we would be fined by the FA, have our ground closed down etc.

 

Apparently he was saying this to anybody who would listen.

oh Yellow I know what you mean I have seen the same thing no disrespect to the Margate fans as the majority were decent fans but there was this idiot in front of us in the first half who was shouting total [****!!****] throughout the first half

on the playing side I was pleased with our back 4 for most of the game in the first half they had the wind against them and they were solid and did their job also Dale pulled off some brill saves in the second half and I was very pleased with Ross Wall I thought he worked his socks off all game and is still learning so fair play to the lad and hope he starts on tuesday and shame he didnt get on the score sheet.

 

But well done to the players lets storm up the ryman prem and get another 3 points on tuesday

Well done you Urchins, a great birthday I had including an evening out with the Mentalist (tho I did escape early ) very funny too it was. Lovely to meet Tink too and I hope Diz got back to London OK.
