Another unconvincing performance with Billy Bricknell getting our equaliser just before half time. Steve Ferguson was our best player and he also missed a great chance towards the end. Attn. 375.

But call me stupid but something I ain't, is a defeatist. As you say...long way to go and lots of points to play for.

I have to say that I found this one of the more depressing afternoons spent at New Lodge.

 

When you look at the obvious individual talent in the side it's unbelievable that we failed to take all 3 points.

 

Despite the remaining missing players, I thought that was a pretty classy team we put out, specialy going forward. I agree with Gazza that the defence cannot be blamed. They let one goal in; we should have scored 3 or 4.

 

The superiority of players like Steven Ferguson, Billy Bricknell, BWG etc.. was obvious, but we failed to make it count.

 

We need to re-discover the winning habit, and stop talking about injuries.
