Disappointing performance and result today. Struggling a bit confidence wise I think. This was a game that had to be won if we're serious about play offs or better this season.

Could have nicked it at the end but it would have been a bit flattering imo.

We need those injured players back asap.

Welcome back Keith.

Why is it people "dig" out the defense when a result doesn't go the way we wanted? If the strikers had taken two or three of their chances (some "gilt - edged"), we would've won the game comfortably. That they didn't isn't the fault of the "backs", who, under the circumstances are doing well.

I seriously would put Joe Flack in the starting 11 on Tuesday...him and his scoring boots. It's about time he had a go.

I don't think we played badly, it was just the inability to see off a side like Harrow that's concerning. I get the impression that we're all waiting for something to happen. Whether that's for Dormer/Cole/Heffer to return or we're just waiting for something to click on the pitch. We need a few performances, we need results, we need a bit of passion back on the terraces, we need to get a bit of momentum going. In the meantime people vote with their feet, yet another piss-poor attendance.

Gazza mate you were obviously to busy with your mike to take notice.

That fact that "people dig out" the defense is because those people have seen that we have had trouble with the backs during most of the pre season friendlies and to date.

Giving away the ball with silly panic shots helped them score their good goal.

The forwards IMO looked great and are so close to being spot on.

The fact that you choose to "dig" them out is obviously your opinion.

Really, BB. I suggest perhaps a little less Strongbow and maybe you'll see that if the strikers had taken their chances, the defence would'nt have been under pressure to perform...again. If we'd closed the door by taking at least two or three of the chances, you maybe would've not seen Harrow in the game...

But of course, what am I saying here...I was too busy with my mic to notice the three or four chances that could've been converted to wrap up the game before Harrow even had their chance to go one up.

Overall, I would agree with Ryan. We didn't play badly and to not see off Harrow is worrying. Again, nowt to do with our back four, it's our strikers who had the job to score goals.

As for passion...well, perhaps we should concerntrate on lifting the players. Some may say it's up to the team to give us something to "sing" about...I say, it's also up to the supporters to raise the team...a bit like the "chicken and the egg syndrome". We're all in this together...we're a club, players, club officals and supporters...so on Tuesday, lets go down to Tonbridge, sing our hearts out and get behind the players.

I feel that we should have won this game, especially being at home, against a lower opposition we should always try to win. I know that where teams are in this league does not really have a say in the final scores but we should aways try and win our home games.

Our defence have improved since the start of the season, even more so with players being played out of position it seems to be working, however they was given a free header in the box which led to their goal.

But when you look at the amount of chances we had today, we should have already had the game won by half time, but our strikers just couldnt produce the final touch, but their keeper had kept them in the game producing some fine saves.

Crap reply Gazza.

Is it? Well, perhaps you should look at your reply.

Adam, you are correct. We handed one free header in defence which led to the goal. One header, one chance which Harrow converted. I haven't got enough fingers on my hands to count the chances we had.

Thing is, its our midfield who should be keeping some of the pressure off of our defence which is why we need a ball playing player, EG - Jamie Dormer/Matt Game. Its frustrating to see our defence keep lumping the ball up in the air, but our defence are being made to do that at the moment because we keep going back to our defence and in some cases passing along our defence line which shouldnt be happening.

Defo a game where we had most of possesion but lacked the final knockout blow. I actually thought their keeper was there for the taking, but easier to say from behind the barrier i guess. Still, we did not lose!

It appeared in the first half that we were looking for Waheram down the left flank, but the second half seemed to concentrate on Bradders, presumably the reason Wareham came off as he was (like Brad) in the first half not getting a touch in the second period.

I agree with you on that point Re Wareham & BWG.

But i will probably get shot down for doing so.

Bradley's change of boot's may have helped him also.
