Yes, although a great addition to our squad his style of play is very similar to Jamie Jarvis, goes into every tackle with 100% commitment and if mis-timed will either be booked or sent off.

Against F'borough he will be pumped up and we could end up with 10 men again and get walloped.

Suspensions for red cards start two weeks after the offence so that means he should be suspended from 20th September.

No change in formation after Evans' red card, the defence just covered him, particularly Dean Harper who was awesome.

It really was an amazing performance given they were a man down. The front two (DJ/Platt) worked as hard as any pairing I've ever seen in a Slough shirt and the midfield supported brilliantly with Bubb and Riddell worthy of special mention. Truth is though no player should be singled out in an all-round team effort.

DJ's goal was a corker after the ball failed to run for him on several occasions beforehand.

Awesome performance. Particularly in the circumstances. DJ and Platty ran their nuts off and linked up brilliantly. Riddell and Brown controlled central midfield and Bubb proved a great out let.

The defence was really, really good - Harper was a rock. So pleased that we got the points as we controlled the game despite thier man advantage. Excellent stuff Rebels.

Sounds very promising, an excellent result, I wish I could have seen it. Ended up watching an absolutely useless Wasps performance at Twickenham instead. Thanks to Horsham Gary for the updates too, I was a little worried to hear we were down to 10 men but then hearing we had gone 2 nil up was very good to hear.

Hopefully this improvement in form will continue, at least into our next league match, as I think that Farnborough may prove too much for our improving team, but I hope I will be proved wrong on that one!

Well done Rebels!

Well i chanced it despite a ridiculously long trip and dodgy weather and was rewarded with a brilliant, awesome display of attacking football which made Taunton look like relegation material. Probably wrong to pick one man, but Harper seemed to be everywhere and would be my MOTM.

Things are shaping up very, very nicely and there was a real buzz amongst supporters for the first time and in a long while. It felt bloody good!

Yesterday's highlight of the game for me:

"62 mins) Jacko claims a high cross into the box and jumps over Fenton to get the ball. As the pair land, Jacko, erm, humps Fenton for a little bit before the pair return to standing. Fenton clearly enjoyed it from the smile on his face..."

Not sure how well you lot saw this from the other end, but was funny as hell.

It was a very solid performance from the boys yesterday! I was very impressed with young Ryan Fenton. He seemed to enjoy his "humping" moment with Jacko.
