I did mention something in the programme last Saturday and have re-iterated it in in the Hornchurch one but thought I would mention it here too........

A lot of people have said in the past that the reason that they do not join in with the choir is that they did not agree with some of the language or the content of some of the songs. Since Peter Cove asked the singers to tone it down last season they have complied so perhaps it is time for others to join in and take the atmosphere close to what it was like in the Conference days. At times then there were, at times,100+ fans singing and people could hear the chants from the Coffin End on the seafront.
