Floodlight trophy Tuesday 9/9/08

I noticed on the Kent Football League website that Margate are down to play Deal, at home in the Floodlight trophy, on Tuesday night. Is there any confirmation of this please?

I can't see it in our own reserve fixtures.

Had such a good time following the last few games, in this competition, last season. I've been so looking forward to try and follow all of the comp' this season.

Especially seeing some of the players, again, that impressed me so much. I love to watch attacking football and the lads on show, in this comp', love to provide it for us all to watch.

I say to all supporters if you want to watch a great competition, come along and watch the future of our club. The team normally consists of the a few 1st teamers and the best of our reserves. Yet they play without inhibition or fear just total self belief, skill and excitement by the bucket full. Honestly last year, all that turned up to watch, spent a lot of time on the edge of our seats, gasping in amazement. Exciting times were had. So come on, all, let's try and join in the fun that this comp' gives us.

Let's face it MISA try to put on events that not all of us wish to participate in. Mainly in Quiz nights, Golf days, Race nights or Bowling which does not appeal to us all.

Yet the one thing we all enjoy is watching football, especially Margate FC. So, surely, this is a good way to pay

100% behind you on this one hippy.

I reckon its a definate fixture-the kent league keep fixtures updated regularly, and have only just sorted the floodlight league out.

wish i was a bit more local to take in the odd reserve game, but hopefully you may take the trouble along with BGA to provide a bit of a run down on any games you attend.

It may take a few games for the reserves to settle this season, and play the flowing football that they do

I hadn't seen the Floodlite games on their site Hippy but will add it on this forum now and Wellsie, I am sure, will add it too the reserve page on the offical site.
