Mercenaries i tell thee. These players have no loyalty. Years ago it would've been an honour to play for a club, now it's all about money. I accept that Chertsey are a good side and it seems that other than Bookham, no other clubs in the CoCo have the b*lls to put up a decent fight against them (so far), but why is he dropping DOWN a league?? He went from AFC Wimbledon to somewhere else. Then to Chertsey whom he left after 4 or 5 games for, presumably more money at Carlshalton. Now he's left the Ryman league to drop down a league to play for Chertsey! No doubt he'll say he's doing it because a) he can't committ to Ryman league football (?) or B) his next door neighbours dog walkers cousins postmans builders best mate plays for Chertsey and he wants to play alongside him!

 

These guys would probably play for the Dog & Duck in a Sunday league on hackney marshes if they were being paid the right money. So sad

Bit early in the season for that comment TT many clubs can win their 1st 4 games and is the missing word BILLS !!!as we have some big bills at Bookham wink and none on the players biglaugh

All clubs should cut/withhold players wages until they start performing and producing results - players should want to play for the club because of the club, not because of the money they'll earn.
