Full Time - CWU 5-1 Cobham

In all fairness to The Hammers (workmanlike young team) they can have few complaints.

We weren't great but we always looked like scoring tonight.

Daniel Hughes and Mark Longley gave us a 3 goal lead at half time and though McKoy pulled one back, another from Longley and Ramzi Bedj Bedj gave us a deserved win.

 

No cards tonight from a referee from Portsmouth!!!!

 

I have nothing else to add on here but those who know me who might like more background are welcome to PM me!

 

Raynes Park Vale beat Cove in the league cup 5-4 on pens after a 2-2 extra time tie!

 

Sutton reserves beat Chipstead 5-2.

Would explain why I din't hear from anyone with regards to the score last night. I know we still had a few missing but I wasn't expecting that!!

Went to RPV v Cove last night, a disjointed game as times but thought Cove had the better of the exchanges but stopped playing once they'd scored and didn't start again until RPV had levelled and could have scored at the end of normall time but for a couple of great saves by the home keeper, RPV take the lead in extra time with the ref blowing up for a freekick as the ball enters the goal and then gave the goal !!! shortly after Cove forward should have scored from 2 yards out but deflects off the keeper for a corner and the ref gives a goal kick could see the steam coming from Duncs hi Duncs Cove had the better chances and drew level and into pens we went 5-3 on pens (i think) as only one was saved.

 

Little forum pow wow with El Guffs, PB, me and the now elusive Doggieman soon to join another club in the CCL.

re R P V game. ive just started to read programe, to be told that, gavin bolger has signed for cove. this was a big shock as i thought he was with cherski.as i read on, this is a whole page from last seasons meeting,what a con. and to think some idiots paid a pound, for regergitated rubbish. a lot of people, complain about R P V facilities, is this now reaching the programe. come back CC.
