I have to agree about the sending off,if the ref had done his job he would have booked the No2 instead of letting him keep time wasting.Tooting exposed your lack of pace at full back especially in the second half and Byatt (No3) caused lots of problems.He made one and it was his shot that was deflected for the other.At this level you have to take your chances and Hornchurch lack that cutting edge to be a top six side.

we had a similar start to the season last year up until about xmas then we went on an incredible run that put us in the play offs, early days getcha next time n thats a promise nice ground mind u

I missed the game last night as I had been to the midlands but from what I have been told today it was just one of those nights....not a good start to be honest but if you flip back to the same time last year on here the results were similar and the comments the same.....we'll be just fine when it gets to the melting pot time..smile

I can't believe anyone can say the sending off was a farce.

We have a free kick,ok their number 2 was time wasting and the ref done nothing about it but as a player you can't afford to get in those positions tp get yourself sent off,you walk away or just don't react,he did and got sent off which will now be a nice big 3 match ban,stupidity!!!

Should have come to Walden last night.

One of the home fans was winding their team up.

Players wanted to jump the barriers to get at him after the game.

Loads of threats to meet afterwards, then Gobshite left (Predictably) after giving more abuse.

You've only lost a couple of matches, for God's sake. If you can talk of not going any more because of that you're not a supporter at all. Any club can do without that attitude, it rubs off on the players. If it really is your club you have to get behind the team, however easy it is to criticise.

I don't recall anyone on here saying they would not go again, to the contrary......so why don't you pop off back to your beloved Rumford and wind them up............

v.d i take it u were referrin to me about not goin to games i was simply sayin since i come back off my hols we have lost 2 out of 2 and maybe im a bad omen anyone knows me no i do all the home games, and make most of the away games work permittin thats y i love the non league because win,lose or draw i be back for more v.d u would make a great cop they have a way of twistin words, maybe u should give up that pub team of yours and come n watch the urchins and i will buy u a drink if your old enuff that is

That's terrible. Having to resort to offers of bribery to get uncommitted people to come and watch your team now! laugh

Twisting words is not something I do. You said you thought about not going to matches, which is what I referred to and I suppose not being offered a pipe and cocoa in favour of not being old enough to drink is a compliment. I'm not here to wind anyone up, I don't even have a team I can say I support (not one still playing,anyway)any more. Lighten up and don't jump down my throat!
