Dorking U18s were tonked 9-2 by some side or other last night.

Good result for Bedfont wasn't it? They lost their opening few games. Were any first teamers playing for them?

As I posted it, you might be able to guess that it was at Merstham. Followed up last night by seeing our ressies win 8-2 against Colliers Wood. I was really hoping for the ninth goal as I had a double on those two scorelines.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but would it be possible for all clubs to sort their websites out?? Some of them are truly appalling. Chertsey have a good, comprehensive and updated one. Looks like Chertsey are setting an example both on and off the pitch.....

yes Chertsey got a very good home draw against the Manchester City of the CoCo prem, and had a cup run the envy of some coco div 1 sides.

 

A vibrant and up to date website is often an indicator of a well run club, if they have time to look after that properly, it could be assumed that all other aspects are being taken care of properly too.

 

Conversely, as soon as problems set in, the forums get shut down, information dries up, and half truths and spin start emerging form the hierarchy.

 

Do Chertsey fc have a vibrant forum on their website for all the fans to discuss the exciting times?

 

I expect the match reports for the last two games (a defeat and a draw) will be up on the official site soon too.

on the dorking news front:

 

anyone got an u-12 lad I suggest you get him signed down Dorking for October, the courses run up to u 15s to end of season, and the u11s are going to play kids from Chelsea fc!
