Valiant effort by Chicks. Game played at a frantic pace, Chatham winner came on 49 mins. Bennett had 2 good chances first half, one a sitter really easier to score than miss.

on the chicks game, could easily have been a different result, but was nil one. away keeper very tall lad and stretched twice to thwart chicks striker trying to go round him. chatham goal straightforward winger to bye line cross head goal.

 

great effort by chicks over two games against higher league opposition.

 

slight concern that front players are very decent footballers with ball at feet, will they hack it in january on cold muddy pitches with joe thug up their shorts.

 

i hope so, dorking fc making massive strides on and off pitch now, long way to go still but all looking good. more bodies through the gate next step in my view.

I take back what I said - great result for Bookham! Some may put it down to it being played so soon after the long trip to Sittingbourne for them but they should have a big enough squad to cope.
