Exactly, there has been many premier league challengers to Manc U originally it was Villa then Blackburn, once the dosh came flooding in the quality began to rise to the top with Arsenal and briefly Liverpool.

Then the Russians began buying and its distorted the market, although United are still top dogs. With the Arabs in Town Abramovich wont have it all his way, leaving United to attract the REAL PRO who wants to be a legend at a proper club, rather than be a rent boy at the likes of Chelsea and now at the theatre of comedy(city)

arsenal are a big club in premier league terms, and are considered one of the bigger sides in europe, but nowhere near the biggest of european sides, probably around 8th behind the likes of barca, madrid, yanited, munich,ac milan, juve and possibly liverpool but in terms of making money they are one of the richer clubs, just have a whacking great stadium to pay off which none of the others have at the moment(apart from munich but i believe the german government helped them!)

No ones mentioned Man utd. Therefore making them the most acceptable club that is run with maximum integrity.

Running the club on natural resources and the strength of their fan base and commercial income. Being a Man Utd fan I'm proud of this. But also applaud Arsenal, The Scousers and Spurs who are likewise. I hope for footy sake that Man C and Chelsea flop and fail to depths beyond immagination as we should not have our top pro clubs being used as a Billionaires Subbuteo Toy.

I'm a Man U fan and only proud of the type of football they've played over the last 45 years i've watched them.

Fans have always been exploited, even more so since the Yanks took over.

Used to be the cheapest team to watch apart from Wimbledon.

Seats at both ends are crap with no leg room.

Hornchurch seats are lovely and spacious.

How can a club that has millions of shirts (Probably for about 50p each) produced charge more than a little old pub team like Hornchurch who mass produce about 100.

How many fans know the person sitting next to them?

Non-league is for real people and you feel part of the club you watch.

Ha! Ha! Ha!

Pick a new name for me. I hope the editor is watching.

Sorry, spent my money though.

15 years home and away and only 1 F A Cup to show for it.

But we did beat the scousers in the final.

Didn't sit in an armchair, except at Saffron Walden the other night.

Agree totally, I only get out to watch 3-4 games a season home or away now but thats enough to be quite honest. And as an Enfield Town Fan well I'm in the same line of thought as you

Coming back to this.....

Barca are not and never have been funded by the Spanish Govt.

Madrid were the fascist Franco's team, and are backed by the major banks in spain.

Barca are actually a "fans run club" and hence hold electiosn for president each term
