Green_Fingers, because we played a team from the same level it means we must win, listen if they was in our division they would be top 3, go and have a look at there website and you would find out why, in all honesty we left are worst performance of the season for this game, and after being 2-1 up at h/t we crumbled in the 2nd half, anyway your team must be top of the league?

Wasn't having a pop at Bedfont Guv - just pointing out to SirLL that all CCL teams except Bedfont lost to teams from higher ranking divisions. Couldn't understand his point that CCL is struggling against other Leagues - they should struggle against teams from the level above! My team (Frimley Green) also lost to higher division opponents - game of 2 halves which FG could have had wrapped up by half-time. Were by no means disgraced though, as El Gaffer may verify

Guv, I think he was defending the CCL teams against Sirlagerlot. He made the statement that we as a league are struggling but nearly all the teams who lost were playing against opposition from a higher level. I do not believe at any point he said that you should of won because you are from the same level. If that was the case you should never lose a league game.

What a good afternoon i had yesterday

 

A good game of football, great bit of banter between the benches and a supply of sweets from SL!

 

Frimley should have been 3 up by half time and were much the better side. 2nd half Epsom took hold of the game and had a spell of about 20 mins where they themselves should have scored a few more than the 2 they got. Frimley can feel a bit disappointed they didn't grab a draw

 

Oh yeah, there was even someone bigger than Rattled playing!!

Oh by the way, tell TC to not look so smart at football with his shirt tucked in to his Simon Cowell high shorts! He needs to swear a bit more as well, far too posh for an assistant manager! He did me a favour though, after looking at his legs it reminded me i needed to get some milk on the way home!

That ball has only just landed too Kermit! 2-1 up with a minute to go....'ave it!!

 

He was a big lad weren't he Gaffer, at one point he almost beat me in the air too... wink

 

The look on SL's face was classic at the end of the game when he was having an exchange of words with the ref and I chirped up and he realised who I was!

 

All in all, it was a good day and Frimley could and probably should have been out of sight at half time as we were very poor and you kept the ball well and played into the right areas. 2nd half was a complete turnaround and from where I was standing it seemed as though we had a perfectly good goal disallowed at 1-1 plus the Frimley full back cleared my header off the line - KENT!!! doah
