Incidentally, the second team we've played this season without a shirt sponsor - clear sign of money being tight!!

Don - there was a sponsors name on the back of the shirt above the number (they had same last season) - perhaps it's a stripe thing!

Yes, you are right there was, quite small in fact and it looked as if on some of the shirts it was fading anyway.

 

By the way, did anyone else have the same difficulty I had with the big black square on the back of the HS shirts? When they were facing away from us, the black on the back hid any stripes and it was not always possible to find which person on the pitch was the referee!

I had the same problem - I'm sure in Newcastle games the ref often wears yellow for this reason

I also had the same problem,but thought it was a senior thing.

I think that is what happened yesterday at Arsenal/Newcastle so it's not a senior thing!

Unable to make the game yesterday, so just flicking through the photos, great to see Young get up so high for the goal. He really is coming on leaps and bounds this season.
