Yeah, a lot better today and what a difference having a bigger squad!

Thought we should have had it won in the first-half. We missed some really good chances and could have been made to pay at the end as they looked dangerous on the break in the second-half.

Thought the new boys did well. Evans looks like what we need at the back, solid and tough. Durrant did very well first-half, but faded near the end (don't know how many games he's played for Burnham) and Byron we know about already, just need to get him fit.

Still need time to gell, especially in attack, but I think were heading in the right direction now with these new signings and the way the team is shaping-up.

Pritchard may be out for anywhere up to a month. We should know more tomorrow but he certainly won't feature on Tuesday.

Dean Harper is hoping to play on Tuesday but obviously that all depends on what we can do with the cut on his head from today.

Thought we looked a lot more solid today than Monday and a big step in the right direction. Still plenty to work on and I'm sure we'll get the right result on Tuesday.

I left really disapointed that we hadn't buried the game in the first half - should have been at least 3-0 up as Abingdon tried desperately to hand the game to us with some Laurel and Hardy defending.

As a replay looked likely, interesting listening to Mark and Rebel and Saint discuss ways of how they could afford to go! - i know how you feel!

Well, I'm back in the country now and I'm relieved to hear we're still in the Cup, although disappointed that we couldn't hold onto the lead.

Five games in, no wins yet. It doesn't sound like a great start to the season. Anybody care to fill me in on what the general opinion is on the season so far?

I thought also that we should've buried the match by half time, but for some reason we just couldnt get those 2 good chances prior to the goal to go in, I'm not sure how we didn't score them!

Yesterday was a lot more promising with the new signings. Durrant got on with the job and did well, Evans looks like a good quality centre back and Bubb showed some flashes of good play, but I was disappointed to see Tom Attrell not start, e really needs a decent run in the team!

One problem I do have is that with the 3 at the back system we are getting caught down the wings around our own penalty area, it happened against Thatcham on Monday and it happened several times yesterday, including for their goal and for the disallowed goal too.

I wonder whether Tom would have the same impact if he started though? He's certainly a useful weapon coming off the bench for the last 20 and yesterday caused their right back all sorts of problems. Having got the guy a yellow card we should have been giving the ball to Tom at every opportunity and allowing to run at him again.

If you use Tom in the last 20 you then need somone like Roy Gumbs to be in there doing the heavy and high stuff with fresh enough legs to come into the box when Tom puts the ball in.

Pity Roy was not available yesterday as once the Abingdon defenders confidence had gone he could have gone in there and finished them off in the air and been able to flick balls onto DJ to finish.

We have to use our players with passion or that passion will start to dissapear.

Thought it was arguably our best performance of the season on Saturday, although we found ourselves once again surrendering a goal advantage and hanging on for dear life at the end.

Our new signings look decent enough and we had a much better balance to the side. In particular Luke Evans looks the sort of no nonsense hard man we have been crying out for at the back and should be a more than adequate replacement for Richard Pierson. Credit to the management for finding players who should improve the squad long term rather than just bringing in bodies for the sake of it like we
