Had to listen to the game on the internet today due to work, sounds like Michael gash had a good game, maybe now the Akinde situation is almost settled certain players can settle down and show what they can do.

Sorry to correct you SR but my co commentator Matt Gerrard and I said nothing of the sort. We confirmed that MFC members had voted in favour of the transfer but Matt's reference to Bristol City was only that "it was rumoured" to be the club where John was headed. In an interview with Matt Davison I fastidiously avoided referring to the name of any potential transfer destination for John - and I avoided the same reference in an interview with Matt on the Radio Kent Breakfast Show yesterday. If you disagree I am sure we can play the hard drive recording back to you. Pip, pip!

Fair enough, I was at work at the time and was listening from a distance, I heard the words MYFC, voted yes, Akinde, 140,000 and Bristol City. Doesnt really matter though, the deal will probably go ahead and that will be the end of it. The whole thing has dragged on like Barry to Liverpool. Wherever John goes, I'm sure he will be a success.

UU, I dont get into petty arguments on this forum because I havn't got time for all that B******s! But I DO take exception at being called naive, especially when I merely stated what I thought I heard on the radio. To be honest, I couldn't give a f**k what MYFC vote or don't vote on, I just care about the club. And before anyone thinks that I am against MYFC, wrong, I have no opinion, as long as what they do benefit the club, then they can do what they want.
