Not sure what to do now...stay miserable and go to Mill lane. Or change my name and stick to the Urchins as they win Ryman Premier.

Seriously, what a season, although the Urchins have been near the top of the table virtually all the time the football quality has see-sawed a bit, but the last 4 weeks has been superb ie. more home goals than in the last six months!

Well done to Mick and the lads.....fantastic!

Having seen a fair bit of Ryman Premier action this season I believe that there is already a squad to start challenging for the championship. Not only has the quality of play improved significantly but the on-field attitude and camaradery also looks to have too.

Once again thanks for a really entertaining season!

PS. Nice to know I was right about moving Gavin into midfield and getting Jamie from Purfleet!

I agree - It would be nice to see all the squad rewarded with a contract (Like last year) and let them have a go at the big boys to see how they do. I think the current squad could finish top six.

I think I have to eat humble pie when I suggested that the div 3 promotion side should have had a chance to prove themselves in 1N. This league has been more physical and a faster pace and I think we would have struggled once a few injuries kicked in (like the pun?).

The team that finished this season are a different proposition, although we may struggle a bit against teams which have tastie wide men (assuming there are some in the Prem).

Good point although Averly are in sixth and they have not spent as much as we have. I just think the current squard are all hungry to prove the doubters wrong and should be rewarded.

I think in the prem we will need to attack more from wide areas - We have good wide players at the club in my opinion our wing backs will need to get on more next season.

I foresee us easily finishing in the top 6 next year, which as I understand will be good enough for promotion into the newly formed Regional Conference set up. Yes the squad needs further strenghtening, but I fancy us to do well. Lets face it, we have played better against footballing sides, not long ball merchants and the quality of the pitches will be much better, thus assisting our passing style of football!

Aveley have done well with little money but they have been very erratic this season. Blood and guts can only get you so far! I saw them a few weeks ago against Berko and they were absolutely massacred, we played virtually the same Berko team and they never really got a chance to get going.

My only concerns are keeping key players (shouldn't be a problem) and the over-reliance on the long ball game and recently goals from dead ball situations. Oh and the pitch at The Stadium of Dreams!
