HTFCew - Have all MK Wanderers junior teams from Under 7's to Under 17's folded too, if so it's very sad!

Rumour has it that MK Wanderers have applied to get back into the SSML next season, surely there's not much chance of that happening.

Many congratulations to MK Wanderers for winning SSML Division 2 team of the month, I assume that's for October. They are clearly a Club going places.

I know many of their players from their youth days, some I feel could easily grace division 1 but it's the case of mates playing together.

MK Wanderers probably have the best youth set up in Milton Keynes and are very well run, as for the adult team and no disrespect to them but Kents Hill apart froma decent changin room is just park football, so unfortunately the level they are at is probably the level they will stay, unless Capt Cash comes to their aid.

I gather MK Wanderers were really unlucky to lose 1-0 at home to Padbury on Saturday, it was one way traffic virtually the whole game

If only they'd scored two goals, they would have won. But they didn't, so they didn't.

MK Wanderers are looking to improve the facilities at Kents Hill which will enable them to play at a higher level, they certainly sound very ambitious and have applied for permission to fence off the perimeter and for floodlights etc. Currently Kents Hill is very basic though and it will cost a fair bit to get it up to standard and would also take some time too I would imagine, so in the short term they have the problem of holding on to there first team players but long term should they be able to progress off the pitch then they would have a very good set up which should enable them to keep hold of the better youth players that progress through the ranks, something I understand they have problems with currently.

AWK, fair comment and it would be nice to see another MK club moving in the right direction, will say though, and I don't mind if I am proved wrong, but if a wad load of cash is spent improving the facilities you may find that the changing rooms might be too far from the pitch, worth investigating if the money becomes available

I was just wondering how things are progressing at Kents Hill having seen a thread on another Forum about MK Wanderers (see below):

Why do you keep dragging up posts from years back. See a heading, looks interesting, then find it is info from ages back, with a question tacked on end. Just start a new bloody thread.....
