Luke is a centre back.

Big solid centre back who will give you everything he has. Strong in the air and in the tackle and a really nice bloke too. Not the best with the ball at his feet but play to his strengths and he'll be a real asset for you. He played 39 times for us last season scoring 1 goal.

Signing a player who won this league last season is a very positive move. I understand there are more signings to come, so our next few games will be interesting.

Picture the scene. Slough are playing away at Northwood and having been 2-0 down, have just pulled a goal back through a Mark West chip. With seconds remaining a free kick is curled high into the box. A Northwood defender makes contact with the ball but only succeeds in planting it in the top corner and handing Slough an unlikely point. The defender's name. Luke Evans!!! He's always been a Rebel!!!
