Just been chatting to RC on the phone. The pitch was rolled last night, and he is very confident that things will be OK. It will be rolled again this afternoon if appropriate.

It has been so dry underneath of late, we hope last nights and this mornings rain will soak through. This afternoons forecast is good, (Yeah, Right !)

We are leaving it to the match referee.

Why didn't you introduce yourself on Saturday ? I'm still in the dark. Give me a clue JC !

Saw you warming up with the keepers and then heckling from the sidelines. wink

If you'd played I think Locky might have got a hatrick in the in the first 5 minutes. hairout

Solid and dependable at right back for us. Hard work against these Ryman sides for all our defence though.

Why would you say it's hard work Bommie?

Is the quality that much higher, is it fitness etc?

I don't think it's quality as much as strength, fitness and speed, attributes that most of the Ryman teams seem to have in abundance. It's a steep learning curve we are on at the moment, one that hopefully we will ovecome.
