Think I saw Jurg there as sub goalie. Score would have been very different if he'd played.

Bookham 2-0 Ash Utd

 

Bookham score 2 in 2 mins early in the second half. Ash had been denied by some very good saves by Brewster in the home goal in the 1st half and should have been in the lead before Bookham created some good chance and the half went on 0-0 h/t.

 

Second half Bookham battled very well and deserved the win on their second half performance as Ash could not match the effort, I know Ash will be disappointed with there second half showing as Bookham beat them for the 1st time.

Manager isn't a happy bunny with what he saw today, can't keep missing chances & expect to win games. Like you said Bookham deserved the win in the end for playing for 90mins instead of just 45

Ah Lightning, Having seen you play today I was wondering why they call you lightning? You must be quicker to the bar than on the pitch.

I think I met BJR and Teflon very noticable when you took your hat off but not you aupostie.

Thinking back to earlier posts regarding who the assembled experts thought would be relegated and everybody with the notable exeption of teflon put Bookham down for relegation!

Anyone care re-consider they all must have nosebleeds south of the river Mole.
