Johnny Lewis fron KmFm is contacting Phil Royal to ask him to come into the studio one morning next week for a live spot to promote this show.

I will remind Johnny in the morning as he is dropping into our place for breakfast and oxygen during his heart foundation charity bike ride.If you read this JL i have kidneys and black pudding as well as a full english good job its near the end of your ride!

Only a few days to go to the MISA concert featuring local legends the 'Rockin' Royles' ably supported by new kids on the block 'Wicked Chicken' all held together by the impressive Dave Underwood. So if you like a bit of rock 'n roll, a sliver of the unexpected and a desire to help out your local football team the Theatre Royal is the place to be.

The date is Saturday 18th October 2008 the kick-off 8 pm. Tickets costing

I would just like to thank the guys for arranging a really top night.

 

It was just a shame that there was only a handful of people representing the club. Come on people get off ya backsides and support MISA and the club.

 

Phil Royle and the Rockin Royles did the night for free and really deserved a better turn out.

 

Well done MISA for a good night.

Thanks for your comment BluePineapple! It was a massive shame that not many people turned up to support not only MISA, but the football club. However, as part of MISA I personally, along with Paul, had a very enjoyable evening! Thanks again to all those in attendance and a special thanks for Phil Royle and his crew for putting on the show for nothing!

Would be nice to see MISA persue some new up and coming talent, rather than some 'rock n roll' dinosaurs with sod all pulling power.

 

Maybe that would attract fans from outside of the football club, thats where there is money to be made, it may be a case of speculating to accumulate, but surely it is worth looking at.
