For those of us unable to attend last night's meeting, could somebody please give a brief summary of what actually happened? Was it any use? Were any questions answered? Will Browne and Deaner be here next year? Will there be STFC? If so, where will we play our next home game? People have said both Harrow and Windsor and I am confused.

Deaner says he's leaving if he cant get backing from the council. If he can, he'll continue to put his hand into his pocket for us to get land, build something on it and get new management. If he can't get backing from SBC then he's going BUT will pay the £25,000 a year for us to share with Windsor for however many years. After that its up to a supporters trust to run the club, with the only income coming from gates, sponsors and advertising. Yes a lot of questions were answered, yes there will be a STFC, playing in Windsor for the forseeable future, definitely not Harrow (Deaner will lose a £6,000 deposit he placed with Harrow). The big issue is whether SBC will co-operate because thats the thing that Deaner is most angry about - giving the Sikh school the right to butt in and apply after 18 months of negotiations and countless meetings, etc.

In further response to previous post, Deaner has agreed to pay W & E the £25k per year for THREE years only (if SBC don't honour their verbal agreement, that is)

Gary I see where you're coming from but we're all on the same side here. What hope for the immediate future of the club if Deaner goes NOW as you suggest - no money for a groundshare. Who will come in immediately with sufficient funding to sort this out, sort out staff for next season, and so on. The STSA? The STSA or a Fund cannot be an immediate option.

Or did he say he would pay for the groundshare regardless of when he leaves - I cant fully remember. Anyway I doubt that Deaner leaving now would be helpful to the club, thats what I'm trying to say here.
