Interesting and positive and informative.

 

TY is probably more involved than what i envisaged-at the club every day-never realised that.

 

I guess the title Director of football -can mean anything.

 

I got the impression that Terry's role by being at the club every day is more that of Operations Director/Chief Executive -and whilst not specifically said in the interview-is his involvement beyond solely football matters ?

 

There is no doubt that we do seem to have the right personnel infrastructure to help us progress back up the pyramid;and that augers well for the future;as long as we do enough to keep in the league this season and then progress.

 

After my intial doubts, i do think the club have got it right by sorting the off field infrastructure first (we need some glimmer progress on the stadium though ).Margate fc have now got the foundations in place to enable us to build and make it a permanent progressionback up the pyramid.

I just trust that this very capable management team stays together for 5 years ;and short term-again-can do enough to avoid relegation this year.

 

i will just say that if a miracle were to occur and we were to win promotion this season (we are only 8 points off the the play-offs !! ),you do feel that the infrastructure is in place to keep us going forward whereas had we won promotion to conf south last season, we would have been straight back down.

 

Keep us in this league this season, keep this management team together, and i can genuinely envisage conference national football back at HDP within 5 years.
