i see in todays paper batch makes the point of sayin we have dave lee on a contract. are all the other lads on contracts to? the last thing we need is for players like ben patten leon gordon being picked up by conf south / conf teams in a few games time!

Not all of the players are "contracted", but this is the same with all teams at this level.

exactly Glen and you only have to look at us for a prime example on a Monday we signed Adam everitt then four days later signed for bromley

well i really hope we have got all our starting 11 from monday on contracts! that is a team that can do really really well this season!!

If you lose players to injury at this level and then have to pay as there contract says where would you find the money to replace them.

Its not contracted players thats important, its more a competent able and inflential manager thats required. One that motivates his players and makes playing for the club enjoyable.

 

If anybody knows one we may need one at Enfield Town as we are struggling at the mo and cant see where our next goal is coming from let alone the next point. But we'll keep backing the boys and coaches.

Well so far I think Batchy has show that he has the knowledge of players and tactical understanding to ensure that we compete at this level. Early days I know, but so far so good...
