in future when we play at scraley road....feezing cold and blustery conditions that would have stopped brazil from playing decent football...god I hate that bloody place...

 

its easy to whinge about performances like that but in truth it must have been difficult for our lads with a full on sea gale in their faces in the first half and far too strong behind us in the second.....parks looked to have broken the stalemate just before half time and how that bloody full back got to the ball before it fully crossed the line I will never know....eugene bolt watch out....!!

 

swifts just as unlikely to score as we were and once again the day for me was about the friendly and sporting welcome from the swifts chairman who is a reet good old boy and seemed to do everything today...well done mate and thanx from us all...

 

so...same as last year won-loss-won-draw and 7 from 12 and well done to the hardy urchins who travelled to support their team....I don't think we can read anything about our team/players from that game tho' to be honest and quite frankly I'll take a point from there next time and stay at home with the heating on....

in all honesty i thought we played alright today, we created chances and its good to see colin experimenting with the side. I'm happy with a point as we could have lost it at the end.
