Thatcham formation

Suddenly no game seems easy and lots of teams seem to look forward to playing us,

Thatchams start has been mixed, a good 0-0 draw at Truro,

losing 0-5 at home to AFC Totton, and a credible draw at home to didcot, All i can remember from last season was that they seemed a bit physical, which team isnt in this league.

Difficult to know what sort of formation to go with, think i prefer 4-5-1 tbh but then perhaps im just to cautious.

Danny Jordan needs a strike partner. Roy Gumbs gives something different but can't last 90 minutes every game, which is why the manager needs another striker asap, especially if the first choice Platt is out for any length of time. I think Jordan looks good, but can't do it all on his own, so 4-5-1 is out for me.

Our main problems are getting the basics right - defending set plays and providing chances for the strikers, and I think we need a solid 4-4-2.

No, it's not Raj Gill. Don't know his name. Afraid that throwing the youth team in at this stage aint ganna be the answer. You need to add them one, by one. Seen them twice now and for me one of them's ready for the first team at the moment, with maybe 1-2 more around Christmas maybe.

Guest Reardon was God

Surely the only answer is to get in some decent established players, but you must remember this present lot were hand picked, so I would not hold my breath that the management can bring in better players, I am convinced they wouldn't know what a decent player looked like-sorry-but true.

RWG whatever you think of the manager and coach etc, you may wish to see them removed because you feel they are not right for the job that is fair enough i respect that but to say they wouldnt know what a decent player looked liked convinces me that this is very personal now and that you have some history there.

which is a shame.

No there is no history with the manager at all-until he became manager I had never heard of him-but you can see for yourself the problems.

So now you know its not personal you respect my opinion-yes ?

Did you hear of Eddie Denton's managerial record before he was appointed? Had he won anything? Yet he took us 'up' and we beat Walsall and won the Bryco Cup.

How far has chopping and changing the manager got us in the last few seasons, Denton, West, Wilko, Betts? Nowhere. You can't build a team overnight and the manager has only been here five minutes!!

I hate to bite, but You are clearly very special...

Thatchams 0-5 loss to Totton should not be taken seriously they had their keeper sent off after 15 minutes and had a stand in - reports suggest they put up a god fight but conceeded 3 late goals

Ive seen Stefan Brown play for their Academy team last Season he is a class act
