Maybe but i think a rookie manager which no knowledge of the ability and potential of football at this level and the way he is using his playing staff has some input.

Ohhhhh dear. I'm not looking forward the Dover game and possibly being humiliated. Its gonna be a tough season and I hope that the mighty DeVille winning the league will keep my attention on my own footy and not on the sorry state of affairs that seems to be going on at Margate. I don't blame BA, the training staff or the players. However I do blame, well who do you think!

We'll see where it went wrong when we get some 'reports' on here.

 

(despite what will be obvious depression, i do hope a few brave souls will post )

 

However, much as i think Smith and Young are ok individually and partnering others, despite them being our 'best defenders' things do not seem to work well when played together.

 

I do agree that now he is available again, i'd like to see gregory at left back and corbishley either right back ,or right midfield giving cover to whoever is at right back

 

That may not be a factor, but i do wonder.

 

Such a pity today as the crowd was a good one imo.

Can't agree with you Michael, I thought Smith and Young together on tuesday was good.

Young never deserved his red today and to sub Stubbs for a defender when we were already 2-0 down was as much as admitting that we were looking at damage limitation.

Also i think Corbishley looked ok at left back and would'nt want to see Parkingson replaced at right back just yet as theres more to come from him.

Smith & Young are doing sterling work back there. Young in particular hasn't put a foot wrong all season(including friendlies).Today he was rock solid but also unfortunate.From where I was standing both players feet got tangled up & only the fact that their player was in on goal led to the sending off. We will miss Dan Young when he is suspended.

We do need two experienced players out there though thats plain to see. Sappleton & Paul Smith.... get those boots on NOW!!

Oh & one last thing & this is for BA.Please do NOT play Ryan Peters as target man again.Its not where we get the most out of him,its not fair to the team & its not showing Ryan in the form that we know he's capable of.It will also get him motivated & involved more I'm sure of it. Midfield running at players is his strength.Put him there & give Pratt a start up front with Powers.I am positive it will work.
