team against cinderford

I wouldn't agree with that team at all.

GK: Jackson

RB: Someone New

CB: Harper Someone New then Harper at Right Back if needed

CB: Fenton

LB: McConigley

RM: Someone New

CM: Brown (Dickens if fit)

CM: Pritchard

LM: Grey

CF: Platt

CF: Jordan

I would possibly toy with putting Platt right wing and putting Dickens alongside Brown and Pritchard in a 5 man midfield in an attempt at shoring things up a bit.

Anyone who can pass to a team mate, not fight with one, and show some bloody passion

i agree Harper may be worth moving central alongside fenton

right back would then be Brown (if back), Ellis (is he still at the club?) or Roberts (maybe risky)

i agree Platt trying out on the wing may be a decentish short term solution but why not play Attrel and Gray and rotate them

Dicko over Rids if available i think

I'm not sure how Tom Attrell would do on the right hand side personally, but we are short of options so maybe he will get a run out. I just hope that Derek doesn't put Dickens back on the right wing where he was in the friendlies.

I never knew that Brown could play in defence I always thought he was a midfielder.

Cinderford town look forward to welcoming you all to the causeway, by the way "a rebel and a Saint" pleased to see another saints fan around, there are few and far between outside southampton.

Laurence Brown
Signed from near neighbours Burnham in December 2007.

Laurence is a versatile player and is capable of playing in midfield or defence.

R&AS you are right,
he is traditionally stronger in midfield but given our right sided defensive weakness i would try him there, he is a battler and a grafter, a very good player.

I had exactly the same thought on the way back tonight. If were to play with five at the back at least he'd add some height. Today's goals all came from failing to deal with crosses into the box.
