White Away Shirts

Silly question, I know, but if Red shirts and White shirts clash with a few other teams, so can't be worn as away shirts, why wasn't Green selected as the away shirt, hence only needing two strips?

From the pictures, not having seen one in the flesh as yet, the amount of red on the shirts would cause very little problems to other sides I would have thought. Some sponsorship logos etc probably have more conflicting colours I would suggest.

Woking, Stevenage, Altrincham, Wrexham, Lewes, Kettering are all green kit possibilities.

 

The side panels are large enough to cause a problem.
