GHA, I was thinking of having an article like that. Also thinking of having a 'blast from the past' type feature where we recommend a band from the past and do a little feature on them. I don't mean the obvious ones like the Pistols, Beatles etc. More underground, underrated bands.

I'm up for it. Although I'd have to play a 'type an article, e-mail it' role, due to the fact that I'll be at Portsmouth uni for a lot of the time.

 

I'm not sure what to do about my stereo though. Do I take it down there with me and leave it (it's a big, heavy, 5 deck piece) or leave it at home, where it will be wasted and mis-used by people listening to David Gray etc?

Why don't you take it down in stages? However, by taking it to Halls of Residence (i assume that's where you'll live) you run the risk of some jealous to$$er trashing/ breaking/ nicking bits of it during a drunken party. However, a good sound system is always vital- but if it's that big, will it actually fit in your room?

In fact when I used to run a kids club and Robbie left I plastered my face over Robbies on all the take that photos and said I was joining ..... can't remember who beleived me though!
