Sorry but town outclassed us is not quite how it was

admittedley we were very slow starting yesterday but as the game went on we became stronger.

The ref giving a blatant pen for handball is not showing alliance, but once infront we then went on and dominated the second half.

Thanks Boss for an honest and accuate assessment - agreed you did get stronger as the game went on, but it was just frustrating to see Town miss as many chances as we did and end up losing heavily after what was a much better showing than the previous Tuesday.

Rhodes - Bradley Drisdale has settled in as well as can be expected in a struggling team. He has come on as sub in 3 of our 4 games and looked decent in 2 of them.

This is all looking horribly familiar. A wasted pre-season, a series of embarrassing results with reports from the supporters that better players are left out of the side...

 

The big difference is that previously we had management with a good track record of cup wins and promotion. Whereas now... Hmmm.

I would have preferred and did suggest at the time that we should go for an ex pro along the lines of Dean Holdsworth or similar, who need to finalise their coaching badges and dont need money as a motivation, however we have Lee and Margonis, therefore we need to back them, give them a chance and see how the next few weeks go.

Town did outclass Concord until they saw no way of beating the biased ref and their heads went down

In my opinion the manager and his assistants for Concord were illegal in the dugout! Three men wearing yellow shirts when your team wear yellow shirts gives the impression there are 14 men out there with yellow shirts on and I did not think it was allowed?

Town were beaten by a poor team!

Max Mitchells booking highlighted how biased the ref was! 4 bad Concord tackles nothing. One weak tackle by town booking!

Enfield were the better side 1st half.

Concord were the better side 2nd half.

 

We took our chances and you did not, hence the scoreline!

 

As for the "Town were beaten by a poor team!" remark, i think that you will find come the end of the season that you will have played many teams below the standard shown by our side saturday!

Please stop posting the league table on here Abu Dhabi as it makes such depressing reading. I notice that the Gazette haven't published the table this week but I think that's more to do with the cricket season continuing rather than Town's ineptitude!
