I've wanted my tongue pierced for about 2 years so it probably will happen.

 

Top 5 disadvantages of having my tongue pierced:

1. The potential b0ll0cking I may receive from my parents.

2. The potential b0ll0cking I may receive from my boss.

3. The hassle of having to clean it and having a swollen tongue after.

4. The pain (possibly)

5. The amount I'll have to pay (40 quid when my mate got it done).

I've heard there are plus sides...and not just for women...I've said too much...I get that alot...that is to say, I say too much and get told I say too much a lot, not the other thing that is being implied with this post...do I stop now?

Get it done up at uni, so then you won't have your parents and your boss having a go at you. Anyway what's got to do with your boss? As long as it is not affecting your standard of work.

If you want to look nice and pretty (as all girls should), then forget about piercings and tattoos, and just put on a pretty dress and have your hair done nicely with a modest amount of make-up.

 

If, however, you'd prefer to look like a May Day Protester, then continue with the tongue/nipple/eyebrow-piercing options.

I know a few (mental) people who have had their tongues pierced, and they said it didn't hurt too much.

 

However, not eating for five days because the tongue-swelling was so severe was a bit of a pi**er!

 

Tattoos don't hurt that much unless you're a big girl's blouse, in which case may I recommend a Pokemon transfer or DIY tattoo with a felt-tip pen??!!

If you want to get your tounge pierced it will mean you can only eat soup for a few days, after having the pleasure of an "act" performed on me with a girl with her tounge pierced I can safely say that you will be a popular girl.

I have my nose pierced, but I want to take it out as It's lost it's novely value now and girls have seem less interested in me since <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I may get a prince albert to readdress the balance.

 

If City win the league, I shall get a tattoo of the saints, I was once going to get Bart Simpson on a skateboard on my ankle.
