Tonights result

Good to see a few people there last night, shocking result for us, but might wake us up a bit to achieve what we did last year, much better RPV than last year.

Result could have gone either way but I think PRV just shaded it, caused Horley lots of problems 1st 15 mins at took the lead, Horley leveled within minutes from a free kick headed in and then bossed it for 15 mins or so, RPV came back into the game, level at half time and it kept swinging in from one being on top to the other. RPV took the lead from a free kick, chances for both sides but RPV got the important next goal, keeper beaten at near post, but dont think the goalscorer meant to put it there for 3-1 Horley missed a pen in last 10 mins which would have made for a good finish.

Teflon - I don't think I would have summarised the RPPV vsHorlyegame any better than you just did. Spot on. The third RPV goal was definitely aimed at the far post but how it slipped through, I don't know.

Much better RPV team than I saw on a few occassions last season and they did edge the game. It could have been 2-0 were it not for an open goal miss before the equaliser.

I spoke to Mick Sullivan, Coops and Dobo Snr but not sure why MS was with the other two.

Nice to catch up with a a couple of ex-Dons and get an update.

Teflon - did you have a young lad with you?

I was standing with a Brentford fan by the dug outs in the second half.

Mick lost his first league game in over a year on Tuesday so clearly his days at merstham are now numbered and he's looking for a job at Chertsey. OR maybe he wants to sign Coops up for us.

Very good point Bommie, think thats what it is, the days of Mick at Merstham are numbers after the defeat in the 92 min against Sittingborne, oh how life changes with the kick of a ball wink

And Coop's joining another club bigshock
