Not Billericay I know, but very funny

Is it true that the plans to bring M.P. up to Connie standard include little pockets for Opera Glasses on the backs of the seats?

So why exactly do we need the opera glasses Rick? - so we can see just how much further down the football pyramid Ricay are, compared with our goodselves!

You're only one relegation away BC...Lets leave the cockiness alone after the season

"So a good view of the game at New Lodge is deemed to be an ADVANTAGE is it IW?"

Indeed it is. Watching you team, nip and tuck, taking on the home side.

For me, it's always comforting to know that the terrace on which one stands will not roll away and that the stand in which one sits will offer a view worthy of 20-20 vision.

Not a bad view from our stand, I'm given to understand, IW (backed up by DVDs of matches which have been filmed from there).
And if you'd ever participated in the "rolling out" of our temporary terracing, you'd fully appreciate that it's highly unlikely to "roll away" under it's own steam.

That's a relief. But I can't help preferring structures that have foundations myself. Temporary structures are too transient for my liking. I expect it's an ownership thing!

Just out of interest, do you know if there are plans for even more of these temporary structures when you win the league in April?

IF we are good enough to gain promotion this year, I understand that plans are afoot to improve/increase the seating on the athletics centre side of the stadium and maybe to increase the length of the temporary terracing behind each goal.
In any event, the capacity of the stadium needs to be increased to a minimum of 4,000, which shouldn't be too difficult (I believe the current maximum capacity is around 3,300).

That's okay BC. We appear to be a "cross roads for many supporters "airing" their opinions about their rivals, grounds, crowds and club performance...

Obviously we're an important "stop" for these discussions to take place. excited
