unfortunately thats the way football works. if we were ever to make it there again the majority would come flooding back claiming to be real fans. same as if we had a good FA cup run. every single person who regularly goes to slough during their struggles are the ones worthy of an opinion of the here and now


Agreed, thats what i mean, everytime we drop a league you lose a chunk of fans, and everytime you go up you will get some more. What summed it up for me was the Yeading match when behind the goal was alive with 'slough town til i die' where were they at our next league game....(probably Stamford Bridge!)I always have the opinion that its harder to get back fans than lose them. I am amazed we have sold so many season tickets, but that has to go down to the expertise of Chairman and his ideas..
