Lively game from what i hear, Chertsey dominated possesion in firt half with Deal having the best chances from set pieces. 2nd half Deal started strongly and went 1-0 up (49), scoring from close range, following a few last ditch blocks from Chertsey. Coops came on with 25 mins to go and laid on the equaliser for Luke Muldowney (70) to head in. Was only going to be one winner from here, Pomroy missed from 6 yards and then Coops (78) scored the winner with a good finish from the edge of the box. Still life in the old dog yet!!

Sittingbourne (A) next round.... Think they have a chance.

Still a bit upset about our performance last night.

Never really got started. Had the chance to equalize to make it 2-2 but on our performance we didn't deserve anything from the game and BAD should have put 6 past us.

Match report.

A trip to Badshot Lea playing out of Farnborough should have been an enjoyable night.

 

The Hartley massive turned up just before ko and found a few seats in the massive stand. Everything looked set and with the pitch looking fantastic, probably the best pitch I

Will try and get to watch the game however I've got a friendly on Sunday, Hartley playing Sandhurst on Monday so I'm not sure if the boss will let me out on the Sat as well.

3 days of football might just ruin her bank holiday. Anyone else get grief?

Farnham 3 Westfield 4

 

After saturdays disaster it got worse for westfield as farnham scored in the opening few min's following generous defending.

we equalised straight away when a volley deceived their keeper at the near post.

we started playing the way we can and cut a weak farnham defence to shreds- ended up getting 2 more goals so 3-1 up at half time

 

2nd half farnham to their credit came right back at us and hit the ball in the box at every oppurtunity, they got back to 3-2 and then missed a penalty! they eventually got a deserved equaliser and were fav's to go on and take the game however we won and converted a pen with 8 mins to go. Doing ok as still missing a few players but thats 3 out of 3

 

cant believe how improved the pitch over there is. normally terrible but at the moment in great nick. mr chapple must be spending some of his fa cup bonus money.

 

on to more important things and as usual the food post match was top notch, massive bowl of chips sausages and crusty bread to make more than enough chip butties.

couple of Farnham MILFS floating around as well which is always good to see and keeps our old commitee members awake!
