Team for tomorrow

I fully expect BA to play the same team tomorrow night as on saturday;and who can blame him.

I do wonder if gregory is available for this game?

If he is, i would play him and bring corbishley into midfield (i think he started off as a midfield player anyway)and giving parkinson a bit of extra protection and also freedom to go down the wing where corbishley can cover.

Thus, if gregory is available, i would play :

SCS

Parkinson Smith Taylor Gregory

Cobishley Stubbs wilson Morris

peters Power.

Above all, i hope that BA resists the temptation to play with a wide midfield players-Quain and Coleman-nothing against them- but we just need to keep it really tight imo and control the midfield which the more tenacious qualities and continued incvolvement of Morris and corbishley give you.

Above all, whoever plays-wish them very very well,no injuries, and after a good performance on saturday, i hope that expectations are not too high ,but equally Margate come away with 3 well deserved points.

Up the 'Gate

Surely he was bought in as a duo with Barry to help in the coaching as well though Andy? I agrre seems a waste him not playing with his experience.

My understanding was that he was going to be more a player with us than a helping hand on the sideline.I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he is injured & therefore I still expect to see him out there amongst the young un's soon.If not I'll be very disappointed.

If it turns out he DOSENT play for us I'll have to agree with Dannyriding. Why pay out twice for one mans job.

Sorry but its unecessary i.m.o to have both. After all we have Yorath to give advice etc haven't we & between them surely they can coach the lads.

Nothing against Smith but as I say,I thought he was here mainly to be Ashbys man ON the pitch. We'll see!

Of course Alan, that goes without saying. But the mention of his name was made therefore debating his role is valid. i.m.o.

He was actually brought here for the dual role of Player/Coach(having checked back on club news) so yes, having read again I fully expect him to play a part sooner rather than later. He must be injured as others have mentioned then.

So maybe he isn't being selected then as mentioned too in interview, so using his experience to coach the younger players as mentioned. My personal opinion is that he is slightly injured still as mentioned to us at a pre season game so am sure he will play a part at some stage.
