FA Cup games today

I have listened to people around the local football community and have heard about this forum. I thought that it would be interesting to join up and see what it was all about, I have been interested to read richard193123456's comments about the Bowers game, which I did actually go and see as I heard that Harefield were a particuarly handy side and I was not disappointed, but to Bowers credit if they scored their penalty in my opinion and it is about opinions they would have gone onto win the game. Bowers look to be a young side with a lot of potential, may be they lack that cutting edge, but I am sure their managemant team are aware of that, was the Bowers side today the same side that took on pre-season favourites Romford last week as I have not seen them before? Just interested to know are you a Bowers committee member as you seem to know alot about their budget????

no mate im not a bowers committee member but the local non league scene is a small world and theres no secrets on such matters, ive seen bowers play 6 times now this season and im afraid to say ive not been impressed.guiver has looked dangerous at times but the centre forward pairing of bennet and guiver is not working out, scott howard made a great save today but he has looked dodgy in most matches and they need paul dennis back,at the back darren ellis is missed and the midfield lacks creative players.

i would love to see tony prove to be as successful at bowers as he was last time round but at the moment its most disappointing and they dont look like title challengers,i sincerely hope that things improve but at the moment i dont think hes got the players to improve on a top 5/6 finish which the club has acheived for the last two seasons.

You seem to have a great knowledge of the game, have you ever been involved in non league football management? if you haven't then may be you should, because trawling through your posts you seem to have an opinion on everything (aware that football is about opinions) but you seem to have more than anyone. I assume that you are a Bowers supporter after seeing 6 games involving them and "in the know", who has said that "Bowers are title contenders"? For what I saw today it seems to be very much work in progress and looking at the youngsters involved building for the future and would be quite happy with a top 6 finish.

bowers always seem to be 'a work in progress',come on, tony cross is back at the club, concord are no longer about, the ground has passed the standard for the ryman league and the wage bill matches the rest of the league,i would be dissapointed if they dont make a title challenge this season, get dean allen back from burnham and it might be possible.shame the club doesnt attract more support from the local area but i guess crowds might improve if they top the table,im not going to get into a slanging match with you because youre obviously assosicated with the club and i wish bowers all the best for the season.

by the way everyone knows what these players get paid, they tell their mates,or their fathers who might attend the matches,or whatever, its hardly a state secret is it?
