Re Mobile phone company.

I ask you, Your compnay keeps billing you a week earlier than you would like, so you call them nice people up and arrange for your billing cycle to be changed, at the same time you pay up your account via switch and are advised that this squares everything and this account is closed. Then you get a nice letter from your bank that a direct debit request has been returned and the bank are pleased to relieve you of £30 for the privilege. Then a nice letter from your phone bods saying the that payment had been refused and they would levy an administration charge.

The amount owed(allegedly) 11 pence!

my comments are:

The stupid jobsworth [should have been censored] and arsewipe dickheads, [censored] [censored] and [censored] again.

hopefully they will do the decent thing.

So you get the mobile phone company to apologise in writing,

then send a copy of that letter to the bank and they refund the £30.

 

If not - take your banking and mobile phone services elsewhere.....

banks ok really they play by the rules and don't know when a company is wrong. I will be changing phone company as soon as me minimum 12 months is up. ta anyway.

Blimey, let me know which one it is, and I'll open an account there. My current one does not in any shape or form, play a 'fair game'. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

My bank are pretty reasonable, I even got them to overturn a charge against me when I was in a bit of debt.

 

My mobile company, Vodaphone, have had their ups and downs, got this gadgety Ericsson which couldn't make or receive calls and had some real fun and games software upgrades, I managed to get about £60 worth compensation, if you say the right things to these companies they will compensate you, especially if you're a contract customer.

SteveP - know the feeling about a gadget-packed bloody ericsson phone that doesn't accept calls, texts, or even 10p to phone home in an emergency!

Problem is I hate Nokias, always stuck with Ericcson and then Sony had to stick their noses in it and make it complicated. Great phone, shame it doesn't work!!

I once told HSBC that if they didn't give me a switch card I'll go to the papers, I had no buisness having one as I wasn't working and had no money but a week after they rejected me and I made my threat - Hey presto a switch card <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
