Rather than being 'a great little forum' where banned members can interact with others, it looks like a forum for the dis-enfranchised to continue their subversive activities, how could a strap line of 'Own F*** All, Do F*** All' be seen to be otherwise ?

Those involved would appear to have little interest in EUFC other than doing it a disservice by persuing their grievances with MyFC openly in order to satisfy their own personal agendas.

Its true that there are a number of issues some posters still have with the MyFC website but those are issues with who and how MyFC Ltd (The Operator) is run, not with MyFC the Society and consequently EUFC.

The strap line Own F**K All - Do F**K All is thumbing the nose a bit but there are constructive discussions going on, you just have to read between the lines sometimes. Apart from the beginning when we didn't really know what direction it was taking there is no moderation and little actually needed anyway, while on MyFC the atmosphere is less "relaxed".

I think I'm right in saying though that if enough people want it the operator can be voted out and a new operator, say the EUFC Trust itself, could be appointed, therefore leading the club in a more positive direction.

I can understand loyalty to EUFC of course, and loyalty to the society, but I really don't understand the loyalty shown to what is really a very shoddy operating company. I'm sure this move, more than any other, would ensure renewals and even new membership.

I believe this is incorrect. MyFC Ltd. (operator) has a 49-year exclusive contract. Whether that's unbreakable or not remains to be seen. But it's obvious that the operator thought of the potential danger that they could be dropped for another operator and sought to prevent that in the operating agreement.

There are provisions for termination of the agreement, but like all things MyFC they are very grey and open to interpretation.

Of course, the simple and most effective way would be for every member to simply pay their renewal fee of

And to be fair Unc, you've defended American Fleet Fan on exactly the same issue in the past as you've used against Ray here.

This is quite accurate. In effect the 'operator' can be removed for not fulfilling it's contract. However, it would be difficult to define what this would mean. The 'operator' can withdraw from the contract at any time with the membership below 15,000. For MyFC to terminate the 'operator's contract would probably require the payment of compensation.

For all you guys who are true fleet fans......you should be celebrating....who cares about this new forum/site or whatever it is.....if some members want to join the demoralised pack of pseudo football fans instead of supporting real clubs with lifelong conviction and a real love of true football then let them. We are all better off without them!!!!!

if you mean drink.....NO.....i'm tee-total actually and i hate any alcohol!!! I dont need the drink to have a good time as you well know unc....... but get fed up with the same old drovel that people keep bringing up on this site, it's all good to have free speech and even some good fun but not at the expense of the club, especially when that club is Ebbsfleet.

I think that the myfc people are more concerned about their own club GP rather than ebbs.....its easy sometimes to forget that these guys bought into a concept way before they knew about ebbs and now feel let down and shafted...its interesting to note how many of them actually have adopted the ebbs banner but as I said...they are more concerned with the probs at myfc than ebbs at this moment in time as they recognise that myfc is the key to it all.....which is understandable.....

and I do seem to recall you quaffing the dom perignon rose at our last liason...or had you forgotten...xx smile
