thats not strictly true jeff is it...you told me you registered under a different user name which is not showing anywhere on the log and there is nothing to stop you registering as jeff or barda..neither of those names show as being registered users...smile

not really stu but there is some useful information being bandied about that is not allowed on the official version.....there's also a fair few pretty obvious trolls around who forget to change their email addies...grin

I saw Jeff had joined the forum a few days ago, registered as Parkin. I am admin on there and when looking at the new members, saw his name and saw he had used his real email address. I have been waiting for him to post. I have not banned anyone since the first couple of days, when we had a little influx of nasty flaming trolls. Then we all decided that we wouldn't ban anyone ... unless they come on and are extremely abusive. We have only had to take a couple of names off since then, I believe. The problem is caused by the people themselves, who are deliberately hiding their identities in order to anonymously troll. If they told us who they were, there would be no problem. Personally, I believe that people who come on under false names to be abusive are pathetic cowards. The forum was set up by one banned member (Heartless/Tinman on MyFC) to give other banned members (me included) a chance to have a voice with other MyFC members. It has already turned into a great little forum and is only going to grow. We have other FF posters on there too and there are no problems at all - but I think people will agree, there is no reason why we should tolerate being abused and flamed on the forum we have set up ourselves.

The MyFC forum should belong to the members, although he owns it as the Operator. But it is for the members to use, as this one is and also the Not MyFC forum. WB probably wouldn't like being abused - in fact, behaviour in the past from him off the forum, in the shape of emails and phone calls to individual members suggests that he reacts very badly to criticism of any sort. Of course, when WB is criticised, it is virtually always in respect of some aspect of the Society's business. I am talking about personal abuse ... the sort I have been subjected to on here more than once. Luckily, the Moderators on here are excellent and they make sure it is deleted ASAP and the appropriate action taken.

thats a silly comment which you answer yourself..

you know she has a user name as darter and you know she is actually sally fletcher with nothing to hide...you however are slartibartfast and daves nan...we all recognise that on both forums although you hide your real name as no one coukld have been christened with those monikers...

she is more transparent than you slarti...whats your real name..?
