Interesting that it the statement says that training took place at HDP last night.

I wonder whether there will be at least one training session at HDP every week from now on,and whether the reserves/noncontracted squad players all train together with the first team these days.

I'm very disappointed we haven't managed to secure Dan Young's signature.He seems to have come of age & been outstanding in all friendlies.He would have been our MAJOR player this season I'm sure of it.

Sappleton,whilst having the vast experience we need may not have been my first choice over Dan had they both been here.Still theres nothing been said yet that Dan has actually gone.

I'm not as sure about Sappleton as others are but nevertheless its still good to have him on board.If & when fully fit he'll do us good I'm sure.

Has Dan Young improved that much? last time i saw him was when he got that nasty injury and tbh he was a good player defiantly one for the future, but no where near as good as Sappleton, I think its fairly obvious im a great fan of Pats ability, but i know im not the only one many considered him one of if not the best defender in the Ryman Prem whilst we had him in 06\07.

First time i've seen much of taylor today-apart from a stroll in the sun at thamesmead.

 

He was very good today so take heart from that.

 

One excellent last ditch tackle in second half.

Won everything in the air and sound on the ground-even went on a mazy run

 

He's not quite sam sodge-but looks fine to me.
