Is there anything of note in it previewing the season,(football-not grouse shooting) and in particular anything from BA or on MFC that we do not already know ?

Nothing from BA as they were unable to contact him but a good interviw with SCS re him wanting to make a point this season, if picked in goal, and the fact that as far as BA is concerned, he starts with a clean sheet for him. Also says (and Michael will like this) that BA has been concentrating on defence in training.

have just had a look at the gazette,and the main feature for margate f.c is the SCS interview.

as i read it it seamed a little bit self centerd?,most players giving this sort of interview would have made some comment regading the opposition for the keeper spot,every player on the books this year believes he has a chance of making the first team this is regarding all the team .

scott must remember matt bowles took his place at the end of last season and will be right up his bum this year as well.(;;woops;.

Sorry to correct you Alan but Matt Bowles played in the last game at Harrow (I can remember commenting on how good it was to see crosses being caught and not spilled)so he did replace SCS at the end of last season.

It also mentioned that we were given 1000 footballs from Mars. My, they must have dropped a long way.

Thought it was a positive article, and was good reading that BA has been concentrating mainly on defence.
