Whitstable and Herne Bay football clubs

Ramsgate excepting, geographically these must be our neighbouring clubs and just 10 and 20 minutes down the road

From afar, i want both clubs to do well and 'think' i would welcome Whitstable to the premiership and Herne bay to the Ryman south.

That could just happen in both instances.

If we are absolutely honest with ourselves, would we welcome that-is it more good local rivalry-or more competition and would we hate it.

Jury is out on that one for me-i'm not sure how i would feel about it in all honesty.

Of course, its not inconceivable that Whitstable could replace us in the premiership and we are facing herne bay in the ryman south next season.

Now that really is scary and a reality check !!

Any views ?

Crikey, MM.. no ones kicked a ball yet, the season hasnt even started and yet youve condemed your team to the Ryman south already, while it be good to see Whistable gain promotion rather it were via someone like boring wood, another kent would be better, its a shame Folkstone went down last season, so come on MM, get behind your team... its US that should be dwelling on this subject not you,...and we havent YET,....

Sorry cant agree the Kent League was the home for those clubs for years (Ramsgate also)and if we end up playing them regularly to me it would show no progression and no aspiration. We were and should still be a Conferene club and the sooner we get back there the better.
