If you want to take part then please remember to contact either myself( on the meat raffle) and, or Alan Bonner(on the gate to the stands), at the Canvey Island game tomorrow. We will have application forms availible.

I will have a list of management and players for you to tee off with availible next week.

Thanks

Graeme.

  • 3 weeks later...

Went to the golf day and had a really good laugh

Stonelees may not be a long course but it is awkward (luckily I had a good supply of spare golf balls. The pencil kept breaking when I tried noting my score on the score sheet...could not handle such big numbers)

Thanks to Tam and his golf coaching Teresa's son now has the golf bug.

A very big thank you to Blueblood for the organisation of the day. Weather was very good and the food excellant.

Will be attending the next one whenever it is

Agree with Frankie. An excellent day, thanks to Graham and course marshall and ball spotter Alan(we'll get you a lollipop to hold next time).Weather-brilliant,Buffet-excellent,Company-superb.A very enjoyable day and if the club made a few bob then even better although this may be doubtful as some people didn't turn up and their food had been paid for.

Unfortunately you are correct acdc. It was a good day, enjoyed by those who attended. Unfortunately we were let down by people who said they were definitely coming, food(we had to pay for there Breakfasts and lunches) had been ordered.

I was disappointed by the lack of support we received from the club in the form of management and players. Thanks to Kenny Pratt, Tom Hickman, James Gregory and Mark Weatherly for coming along. I was sad Louis Smith was unable to attend due to injury.

Never Mind, we will start to plan the next one for the spring.

So start saving.
